Lobkowicz Collections (o.p.s.) are looking for curatorial assistant/registrar (full time; new position) to join their team from early 2015. The successful candidate will divide his/her time between Lobkowicz Palace in Prague and Nelahozeves Castle. This role will involve managing The Collections’ database and assisting with loans, restorations, transport and installations. The key responsibilities will also include overall safety, day to day care and protection of The Collections’ holdings. Previous experience working in the art field and a proactive approach are essential.

 

We require:

·         Degree in Art History or similar fields

·         Fluency in English (written, spoken)

·         Experience with daily care of artworks and their installation (minimum 3 years)

·         Outstanding attention to detail and great communication skills

·         Excellent computer skills (Photoshop and graphic programs are a plus)

·         Able to work under pressure

·         Driving license B
