Dear Colleagues,

We would like to inform you about the upcoming announcement of

National competition of museums Gloria musaealis 2019

Ministry of Culture, Association of Museums and Galleries of the Czech Republic and Czech Committee ICOM.

A total of 87 projects registered for this year’s by 60  museums and galleries.

The most numerous category was the Museum Exhibition of 2019 (40 projects), followed by the categories Museum Publication of 2019 (30 projects) and Museum Deed of 2019 (17 projects). Detailed information on all competition projects, incl. Accompanying documentation is available on the gloriamusaealis.cz website.

The presentation of the Gloria musaealis Awards for 2019 will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 2 pm in the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House in Prague.

The event takes place under the auspices of the City Council. m. of Prague for the field of culture, monument care, exhibitions and tourism Hana Třeštíková.

The partners of the ceremony are Obecní dům, a. S., The National Museum, the Capital City of Prague, Czech Radio, AV Media, a. S., And Three Brothers Production.

The main media partner of the ceremony is Czech Television.

The media partners of the event are Czech Radio Dvojka and the internet portal and magazine PROPAMÁTKY.

In cooperation with the CzechTourism agency, lists of awarded projects were prepared, which are available on the competition website and also on the kudyznudy.cz portal.
